ZFF President Pandu to attend CECAFA General Assembly in Uganda
The President of the Zanzibar Football Federation (ZFF), Seif Kombo Pandu has confirmed that he will attend the Council of East and Central African Football Associations (CECAFA) General Assembly slated for December 18th in Kampala, Uganda.
“I will be traveling to Uganda to attend my first CECAFA General Assembly,” confirmed Pandu.
The Assembly expected to take place at the Silver Springs Hotel will also be elective with a new President, two Vice Presidents and Committee members being elected.
Pandu said it will be a good experience to meet Presidents from other Federations so that they discuss football development and also exchange ideas.
“We shall use the newly adopted statues for Zones as recommended by CAF to elect new office bearers,” said CECAFA Secretary General Nicholas Musonye.
The new Statute allows for the President, two Vice Presidents and three Committee members to be elected.
Former Sudan Football Association (SFA)’s President Mutasim Gafaar’s term as Cecafa President ended last month.
