CAF finally signs headquarter Agreement with Egyptian Government
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has finally signed a headquarters agreement with the government o Egypt.
Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy signed on behalf of the Egyptian government, while CAF President Ahmad Ahmad also signed.
The Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly also attended the ceremony on Wednesday.
The agreement is for a period of 10 years and shall be automatically renewed.
The agreement recognizes the international legal personality of CAF as an international non-governmental organization.
Under this agreement CAF shall benefit from several advantages, immunities and privileges similar to those granted to international organizations and diplomatic missions.
