KMKM out to stop table leaders Mlandege FC in Zanzibar Premier League

Table leaders Mlandege FC will face a tough test when they encounter third placed KMKM SC in a Zanzibar Premier League tie later tonight.

Mlandege FC have 53 points, while KMKM have accumulated 49 points from the same 23 matches played.

The likes of Yahya Haji Salmini, Seif Salum Said and Khelefein Salum who have proved lethal will lead Mlandege FC for the goals. Optatus Yustin Lupekenya with 12 goals already in the League will lead the KMKM FC team.

Fresh from a 2-0 win over Mwenge FC last week, Jamhuri FC will also be eager to continue with their winning ways when they face Selem View FC today. The third game on card will see KVZ FC battle Jang’ombe Boys FC.

On Sunday Mafunzo FC moved to fifth place after a 1-1 draw against Chuoni FC.

The Zanzibar Premier League resumed on July 1st after it was halted in March because of the threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
