Young Africans SC defeat visiting KMKM 2-0

Zanzibar Premier League side KMKM SC put up a good show but eventually lost 2-0 to Young Africans (Yanga SC) in an international friendly match played at the Azam Chamazi Complex on Wednesday night.
Democratic Republic of Congo import Mukoko Tonombe netted a first half brace to make sure the Vodacom Tanzania Premier League side win the game.
KMKM SC played a highly defensively approach from the start, and occasionally made some break throws at the front.
But Tonombe made it 1-0 after 10 minutes after he connected a well taken Carlos Carlinhos corner kick. After 24 minutes Tomombe again found the KMKM SC defenders flat footed and made it 2-0.
KMKM SC who finished fourth in the 2019/2020 Zanzibar Premier League used the game to prepare for the upcoming new season expected to kick-off in November.
On September 16th Yanga SC also stopped Zanzibar Premier League champions Mlandege FC 2-0 in an international friendly played at the same Azam Chamazi Complex.
