ZFF President Kombo resigns
The President of the Zanzibar Football Federation (ZFF), Seif Kombo Pandu has resigned.
“It is true I have resigned effective February 17th,” said Kombo.
In a communication issued by ZFF today, it was confirmed Pandu resigned on Wednesday. “In his letter he said he had decided to take the decision in the interest of Zanzibar Football. He has expressed his gratitude to the ZFF leaders he has been with throughout his tenure as ZFF President, said the communication.
Pandu has been President of ZFF for the past two years
Currently Zanzibar only competes in tournaments organized by the Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (Cecafa) where they are members. ZFF was admitted as a full member of the CAF in March 2017 but lost membership four months later.
